By focusing not on the content but on the person, connected to the motivation of the learner, we create a powerful learning experience. The various e-learning modules we have developed are often mandatory. In fact, certain certificates must be obtained in order to work in healthcare. But that is not our starting point. The intrinsic motivation to become a better caregiver is what is central. And, it can also just be fun! Indeed, by designing the learning environment in a playful way, cognitive ability is stimulated.

Fun factor

A didactically strong e-learning is provided by images. For this reason, we have had drawings made for all e-learning programs that clarify the questions. The cartoonesque way of drawing by Marijke van Veldhoven contributes to the 'fun factor'.

Learning in practice

The e-learning modules are designed to be close to real-life situations. We do this by having participants walk along with a fictitious nurse for a day, as it were. Participants recognize themselves in the everyday situations about which practice questions are asked. By providing immediate feedback on the answers given, there is always a learning opportunity.

The exercises with practical situations, whether hand hygiene or incontinence, are in preparation for the exam. When the participant feels confident with the material, they can take the final test. A personalized certificate completes this learning experience.
