Wheel alignment tablet application

Polder Knowlegdge has developed an application for Koch Wheel Alignment to support the use of Koch Achsmessanlagen wheel alignment devices. The application will be used on the shop floor by garage owners and auto body repair shops. The application is therefore optimized for use on tablets.

Simple and effective alignment

By combining existing techniques with customization, we were able to effectively fulfill the customer request. For example, we chose an existing framework (Zend 2) as a basis. Through a smart link with the RDW, technical data of the vehicle are retrieved and measurements can be started immediately. Further links with manufacturer data are in sight to make the use of the application even more efficient.

Customer engagement

The customer was closely involved in this process; as a connoisseur of the business, he was able to put himself in the position of the end user like no other. In addition, the application contains all kinds of complex calculations for wheel alignment that we had to "translate" into an online application. Here, too, the client's input was essential. In the development we worked in phases, which enabled us to continually steer on feedback from the client.

Software as a Service (SaaS)

The Web application is set up as Software as a Service (SaaS): New garages can be signed up without the intervention of an IT person, and can then start measuring a vehicle immediately.
