From its founding in 1970, Interfood has grown into one of the leading dairy suppliers worldwide with offices across every continent. Interfood provides dairy products and services to the dairy industry for various applications including pizza producer and supplier.
Mozzarella tablet app
Thinking and advising is one of Interfood's strengths. Polder Knowledge developed a tablet application to support Interfood's advisors in advising on mozzarella for pizza.
The counselor walks the client through an entire process in a fun, playful and interactive way, ultimately resulting in a personalized report. Preferences such as blistering, browning and stretchability all come into play. For example, one country prefers a white cheese topping and another country a golden brown cheese topping. In addition to taste, shape and texture, practical issues such as packaging and shipping are also discussed. Based on the answers, the consultant can start a dialogue and approach suppliers that meet the mozzarella specifications set.
Insight for Interfood
The APP also provides Interfood with greater insight into the different preferences that exist by continent or country. These insights are important to better understand the local market and thus serve it better. Do Americans like nice 'stretchy' mozzarella and could the Dutch like it a little less oily? The data from this APP provides the answers.
Result A tablet APP that supports Interfood's advisors in a playful way in their advice for that customer-specific mozzarella. After going through the process, the output is a report with a personalized mozzarella advice. Human First development Can advising be more fun, of course it can. With this mozzarella recommendation APP it becomes a feast for both the consultant and the customer to determine the perfect mozzarella topping. The mouth is already watering with visual support in images and video.
